The Basic Tee

Lately, I have been loving the basic t-shirt. The Gap has so many different styles and colours, and they are super soft and flattering...so indeed I purchased 2 of them!  They a very practical and you can match them pretty much to any outfit. And! Right now, the Gap is having a sale they are 2 for $30!!!  I am actually thinking of buying a couple more. :))

Ah the excitement. I love shopping, especially the guilt free shopping that is easy to justify...I guess I always try to justify it with plenty of crazy excuses, BUT so far it has worked!  Anyways, recently I visited a Winners close to my house and came across this super cute Jessica Simpson dress.  I love all the details, the nudish colour and the interesting way it fits. I am surprised because, lately I have been seeing a lot of her clothes and they are definitely not bad-in fact I find them practical and cute. 

The other purchases are both from Zara. I must admit Zara is my fave store this year. They have totally outdone themselves, with so many styles, colours, fabrics and patterns...and they are all spot in terms of the trends of this season! 
I am not sure why all of a sudden I have this obsession with nudish/pinkish colours but it is a colour that can be matched easily and suits pretty much any skin tone.  And of course it is such a happy colour!

The Maxi Dress

And once again the maxi dress is back! They are definitely not hard to find this season and are available in so many different colours and patterns.

I have picked out few that I think are just adorable. 

You can never really go wrong with a maxi dress and, they are super practical. They can be dressed up or down...worn to the beach with flats or on a night out with friends.

Must Have Powder

This is by far my favourite cover up powder.  A little goes a long way and stays on for hours.  But it doesn't just cover up it also moisturizes. For me that is key, my skin is pretty sensitive and I hate applying layers of foundation or cover up as I find it looks too cakey.

This is definitely a must have product for people who prefer not to wear too much makeup!

My News Shoes

Ahhh the excitement! How I love buying new shoes - let alone 2 pairs of them!

The first heels are from Zara and the second pair is from Browns Shoes.

I am pretty certain that every other fashion blogger out there has the Zara heels, but I couldn't resist, the colours are just too beautiful.  As for the Browns wedges, they are unbelievably comfortable.  Like I mentioned previously, comfort for me goes a long way and they are just that - pretty and comfortable!

After much debate - since I am getting married this summer, I have decided that the Zara heels will officially be my wedding shoes. YAY! This was a hard dilemma as I already had bought my wedding shoes.  I guess, I realized this weekend that I just love the Zara heels more AND compared to the other ones they are far more comfortable!!!

Floral Power

I just love, love and love the floral prints everywhere.  I love how happy they make me feel.  When wearing floral prints, it's good to remember that when wearing a floral print item your top or bottom should always be simple...a simple one toned shirt is all that is needed.

 

I too have bought myself floral pants from Zara, and am excited to start wearing them more often.  I will post a pic of me wearing them very soon. :)


The weather here in Toronto has been very strange this year, it is still a bit chilly. But I am still very much hoping it will get nice and warm soon (as in soon I mean hopefully tomorrow!) so I can start wearing all my spring and summer outfits.

My New Flats

My most recent purchase are...these beautiful Bandolino flats. I fell in love with them the minute I saw them. The colours are amazing and perfect for summer.  I think I actually tried every pair of flats at The Bay and to my surprise these were the most comfortable ones!  

I guess I have realized as I get older, not only am I looking for beautiful shoes with good quality, but comfort as well.  Comfort goes a long, long way especially after a long day at work.

My First Blog!

Wow, am I excited! I can't wait to start sharing my love for fashion with everyone!

Just a little intro...I love fashion, beauty, food, traveling, adventure and anything to do with being a woman!

I love to share cool and interesting ideas, so I finally made the move and created my own blog. 

I also want to stress that this blog will feature only items that are available in Canada and/or can be shipped to Canada for a reasonable price.  That is my main reason for creating this blog. After searching numerous sites, blogs and social networks I realized that so many of the items out there are not available in Canada-which totally bums, especially when you see a cute dress or jeans that you are dying to get your hands on.   I hope you guys enjoy it and will continue to follow me!
